“ We are a Bangalore-based women's trust working towards ending all forms of gender based violence
and discrimination”

Aweksha, which is CARE in Sanskrit, is a newly founded Women’s Trust towards the end of 2021. Although the name is new, we come with 42 years worth of grassroot level experience of working against violence towards women. Aweksha is a breakaway from Vimochana. Moving forward we wish to continue our fight to alleviate gender-based violence.
