As part of the Up in Flames Campaign, Aweksha will have Street Plays in collaboration with
students from Christ University across Bangalore to highlight the burning of women. Through
this, we hope to change the dominant narrative of these deaths being “accidental” but are instead
cases of outright murders and abetted suicides which is criminized
